BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Comprised of accomplished leaders from the performing arts world and the Nashville community,
Chamber Music City's Board of Directors holds oversight over the governance, finance, and vision of our organization.
OUR MISSION
Chamber Music City seeks to foster collaboration, connectivity, and community through classical music of the highest caliber. Centered around diverse programming of music old and new performed by globally renowned artists, we strive to make great art accessible to all.
CONNECTIVITY
Our concerts aren't simply about listening to music, but experiencing it on a personal level. Through intimate venues and pre-concert artists talks, we seek to bridge the gap between performer and audience.
COMMUNITY
We're grateful to be a part of one of the nation's most creative communities, and are committed to giving back to our city through public school outreach concerts, discounts, and more.
COLLABORATION
By bringing a diverse array of artists from around the nation together in Nashville, our programming facilitates unique collaborations designed especially for Music City.
OUR STORY
As a frequently sought-after performer in chamber music concerts around the nation, founder Ji Hye Jung, Associate Professor of Percussion at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music and principal percussionist of west coast chamber ensemble Camerata Pacifica, noticed a lack of similar experiences in her home city of Nashville. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic chamber music scenes of the Northeast and Pacific Northwest, Jung sought to find a way to bring electrifying yet intimate classical performances to Music City. With our first concert set to take place in the Spring of 2024, we are thrilled to share the thrill and beauty of high caliber chamber music with the people of Nashville.
